Fromm’s Surf & Turf

Fromm’s Surf & Turf is one of a few grain free products on the market. Much like other grain free products it tends to be expensive as the ingredients cost more. What you do however normally get is a well balanced product with no by-products. The Fromm’s Surf & Turf is no exception to this.

This product Surf & Turf is a grain free product which means they have loads of animal protein in it which makes it good quality however very pricey. They have also included a wide variety of vegetables and fruits in the dog food to give it a good overall balance. Potato has been added as a carbohydrate source and to hold everything together. This product is what I would call a Category 1 buy. Its well made, well balanced and at the price you are getting what you pay for – quality. The largest plus for this product is its protein sources such as  salmon, followed by duck meal and then potato. Like other high end food they have also added cauliflower, carrots and blueberries. Whole eggs have also been added to an excellent mixture of dog food. If you are considering buying good quality dog food at a price then this it is.

Good Points:

Just about everything! If there ever was a dog food product that was the Ferrari of dog food then this would be it. Very few other dog foods ever reach this level of quality, but this comes at a price like everything else. If you can afford to buy property dog food — then this is what you buy.
