Kibbles ‘N Bits

Nice adverting when it comes to the product and makes a real emotional sell to the uninformed consumer. This is one of the foods you dont really want to give to your dog unless you are really at the bottom end of the scale when buying dog food. You can use this but ensure that at least once a month you buy a higher end product to balance your dogs diet.

The product is cheap and the reason is that all it really contains are grains and nothing more. It also contains what they call animal digest (aka chicken guts and other leftovers of a slaughter process) which is also a very bad sign. As stated if this is what you can afford then try at least twice a month to give the dog a proper dog food such as Blue Wilderness or Dr Tim’s Pursuit Premium Dog Food which is a much better product. Everything from the main ingredient is simply grain from corn to soya with bone meal added. The protein content is not very high as a result.

They have also added born syrup as an ingredient and this is to sweeten the product so that they dog will eat it. That comes with its own dental risks for your dog as they simply eat after the taste of the syrup. this is really the bottom end of the food market so try and balance off the meal over the period of a month even with food scrapes from your table which is not bad.

Good Points:

Its cheap! The question is do you want to give your dog propylene glycol aka anti-freeze in his food or how about the addition of Hydrochloric Acid aka drain cleaner. How about the levels of sodium in it. Its just insane. These simply should not be in any food even for dogs. Go down to Costco and buy a bag of Kirklands for the same price.
