Nutro Ultra

Considering that Nutro Max is not what one would expect and that Nutro Natural Choice is at the top of the range then one has to look at the Ultra range. I can tell you that this is a fantastic product and hands down one of the best dog foods on the market. you are buying Nutro pet food then forget about the others and buy the Nutro Ultra as it covers what ever good dog food should.

I have looked as Iams such as the Iams (Lamb & Rice) and also the Iams Healthy Naturals and I thought they had been middle of the road dog food and also Eukanuba (Lamb & Rice) and Eukanuba Naturally Wild (Venison & Potato). All four dog-foods I thought was standard. The Nutro Ultra is head above all of them even though they pretty much cost the same. If you are big on Nutro then stick to this line of dog food!

The first sources of protein in this is chicken and chicken meal. These are rounded off with whole brown rice which is not only rich in fiber but also provide a truly excellent source of carbohydrates.

It also contains lamb meal and salmon meal  giving this food 4 sources of high protein. This is truly a protein packed meal for your dog from very good sources. Flax-seed has been added with sunflower seed for fatty acids. One small down side is that they still used a small amount of soybean.

Egg has been added for additional protein and they have included fruits and vegetables to their product and these range from pumpkin seeds which is excellent for your dogs skin and a range of vegetables from carrots to spinach. They wrapped all of this up with a multivitamin too boot.

Good Points:

Its a fantastic dog food and one of the few on the market which you can really call holistic food. Good protein sources, fruit and vegetables with a multivitamin. Its a winner hands down and you will consider this to be a good buy and true value for your money!
