Pinnacle is as the name would suggest – at the pinnacle of the dog food chain. They make well known quality dog food. Finding it – that’s going to be tough! Duck meal is their main ingredient and this is a very good sign when you look at the price. Pinnacle is now made by Avoderm.
Looking at the product you notice that there are no by-products and no fillers in any of the food. That alone tells you that this is a quality product. Duck again is used in a smaller amount in the product as listed.
For fiber and carbohydrates they have used potato as an ingredient. flax-seed has also been used for fiber and to add fatty acids to the mixture.
They have for this dog food clearly also included a multivitamin to balance off an otherwise high quality product. I am not sure if Pinnacle can still be bought as Avoderm took over and Avoderm tends to make loads of grain free pet-foods. See the Avoderm listing for more information about their other products.
This is a well balanced and excellent dog food with good sources of protein and no fillers or by-products being used. This is well worth the money being spent on it.
